Andrei Skurko, head of Nasha Niva’s advertising and marketing department, released from prison
18 August 2023
"What a happy day!" his wife Paulina wrote on Facebook today.
On 8 July 2021, Andrei Skurko was arrested and later received a 2.5‑year prison sentence based on a phony criminal case. He was found guilty of absurd charges of «causing injury not qualifying for theft, committed by a group of persons in collusion or major injury.» Two Nasha Niva staff members were tried for paying utility bills at tariffs for individuals, instead of those set for legal entities.
He spent a total of 2 years, 1 month, and 11 days behind bars, including the remand period.
