The human rights community of Belarus has recognized the blogger of MozgON YouTube channel Uladzimir Tsyhanovich and Brest blogger Alyaksandr Kabanau as political prisoners, spring96.org reports.

A criminal investigator informed Viasna member Uladzimir Vialichkin, on June 25 Brest blogger Siarhei Piatrukhin was sent to a temporary detention facility in Minsk. He is arrested along with Siarhei Tsikhanouski and at least another 10 people in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code initiated after the events in Hrodna on May 29.

Babruisk district and city court ruled, Siarhei Latsinski, journalist and BHC observer, breached the law on mass events by presence at the 'live chain' protest on June 19.
He was punished by ten days of jail under Art. 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences for participation in an unauthorized mass event.
UPD.: In the evening Siarhei Latsinski was released home with a high temperature, he will serve his sentence later.

Police arrests 13 journalists in Belarus
Friday, June 19, was the last day when signatures for nomination of presidential candidates could be collected in Belarus. A series of pickets was held all across the country. Many people took to the streets to participate in the peaceful protests against the policy of Alexander Lukashenka. The arrested journalists were covering these protests.
Police officers and riot police (omon) arrested the protesters and the journalists covering the events.
